  1. In order for you to qualify for unemployment benefits, you have to prove that you are a registered job seeker on the job seeking website of the Unemployment Insurance Fund of the South African Department of Labour. Somehow this scammer has found a way to hack this job site and they send you a personalised email message with this job offer as soon as you upload your CV. I have nearly fallen for this scam until they told me that I have to pay for the Visa and that the attorney appointed to process applications in my country was this Peter G Smith in Maryland. I had a US Visa before and know that you have to apply for it in person at their embassy. There is no way that you can apply through a third party, even if it's an attorney, and even less so when that third party is in another country altogether! The whole business was starting to look very suspicious when I looked at their responses to my emails, which sounded too much like form letters and used very bad English. I think the final straw was when I realised that they were using terms and date formats that were not typical of the American vernacular. I remembered this scam identification website and when I looked here, saw that they are really scamming me. I am VERY glad that I have found this out before I paid any money to them.
